2018/08/07 Request over debate dates fuels social media firestorm in Third District race

Yesterday, Courtney posted an open letter addressing Jim Banks’ disparaging personal attack on her as a single woman. In response to her request that he agree to four debates for this fall, he said, “Unlike Ms. Tritch, I have a family and a job…” He then responded to her open letter in an email to The Journal Gazette, stating:

“Tritch ‘is twisting my spokesperson’s comments yesterday to disparage my character.’”

But, as it turns out, the “spokesperson” responsible was actually Jim Banks. Watch the video below from Fort Wayne’s NBC and see for yourself:

2018/07/25 Pakistan election: Dozens killed on voting day

There have been threats and violence in elections around the middle for years. But despite the very real threat, middle eastern citizens still vote! And here in America, over 100 million eligible voters simply choose to take this sacred act for granted. There is no more American act you can do, that’s been afforded to you through sacrifice, imprisonment, violence, and death – than voting. Vote!

Violence has erupted as millions head to the polls in Pakistan, with at least 31 dead in the worst attack, a bomb in the city of Quetta.

PACs that gave money to Banks’ campaign included those representing General Electric, Lincoln National, Raytheon, BAE Systems, Anthem, Eli Lilly, General Motors, Old National Bank and Kroger.
