I’m interested in, basically, transparency, because I think that there are a lot of people who feel that the local government hasn’t been very transparent and maybe they’re hiding things and I’ve heard things. … Things need to be put up for bid. They don’t need to be split up to avoid the bid process. People deserve to know what’s on the agenda so that if they have something to say about it, they know it’s being discussed and they can come down and discuss it.

Oddly enough, Warsaw City Council candidate Jack Brunetto, who campaigned for Benyousky, is running for Warsaw City Council, and got a tip of the hat from a well-known Republican. Winona Lake Council President Rick Swaim, on Benyousky’s Facebook page, complimented Brunetto: ‘I can’t vote for him, living in Winona as I do, but he would have it if I could.
