“He will now head up the Department of Justice’s efforts to fight racism, homophobia, and other forms of discrimination, even though he has spent his life defending discrimination.”

2018/10/21 For state offices: Two incumbents and a newcomer
“Hoosiers would benefit, however, from the political balance Democrat Jim Harper would bring to the Statehouse as secretary of state. New ideas and talent are needed to build trust in an election process that saw one of the worst voter participation rates in the nation in 2016.”
2018/10/20 ‘Mary’ in Jackie Walorski ad is not at risk of losing coverage for pre-existing condition
“The ad doesn’t mention that Olson is an elected Republican official who is covered by a group plan.”
2018/10/13 Pro-Trump Gang Seen In Footage Assaulting Anti-Fascist Protesters In Manhattan
“Minutes after an event at a Manhattan Republican club meant to celebrate violence against leftists, attendees belonging to a proto-fascist, pro-Trump street gang reportedly pummeled three people on the sidewalk in Manhattan’s Upper East Side while shouting homophobic slurs.”
2018/10/15 Decade of devotion | Tritch consistently demonstrates commitment
“Courtney Tritch is a staunch fiscal conservative who knows that we must be efficient in our investments. She also understands that working & middle-class families deserve to keep more of their hard-earned money. But she also knows that cutting taxes for billionaires puts our country into a deep deficit position, increases our national debt, and further burdens future generations by making America’s economy less nimble.”
2018/10/08 Tritch slams partisan politics at Rotary appearance
I have been shocked and appalled by what is happening in our country. And if we continue on this road of being the red team and the blue team, the American team is going to suffer. Nothing is getting done.
2018/10/10 Ford Prepares for Mass Layoffs After Losing $1 Billion to Trump’s Trade Tariffs, Report Says
Ford is having a bad year in 2018. Its stock is down 29%, and the tariffs imposed by President Trump have reportedly cost the company $1 billion, as the company is in the midst of a reorganization. Now, the company is announcing layoffs.
2018/10/13 Sensible immigration plan vital to region’s goals
#ICYMI: It’s a false choice to say we can’t secure our borders while still remaining a welcoming nation. Read Courtney’s op-ed from this past August on how we can strengthen our nation’s immigration system.
On Nov. 6, the choice on this issue and many others will be stark. We can choose to make decisions based on data. Or not. We can choose to make a pro-business and pro-economic development decision. Or not. And we can choose to value all people, including immigrants. Or not. The American values I believe in lead me to stand up for every resident of Indiana’s 3rd District, not just a select few, and I hope you will stand up with me this November.
2018/10/04 What Stephen Miller’s Proposed Ban On Chinese College Students Means For Higher Ed
The White House engaged in serious discussions to consider the possibility of banning Chinese students from studying at American universities and colleges, according to a recent report by the Financial Times. Spearheaded by White House aide Stephen Miller, the debate was part of a larger conversation about limiting Chinese espionage. The idea that Chinese people living in the United States could be spies for the Chinese government and that the US government should take action to limit their capacity for such espionage is not only ludicrous but also quite literally the same argument that was used to justify Japanese internment camps during World War II.
2018/09/26 District 18 Deserves Moore
I strongly support District 18 Deserves Moore for Indiana House of Representatives District 18 and encourage every voter in District 18 to vote for her in the Nov. 6 general election. Her grassroots positions value honesty, transparency, inclusion, embracing justice, common sense, constitutional rights and caring for others as she would want to be treated.
