Wednesday, January 10, 2018 is the first day when candidates can file to be on the 2018 Primary Ballot. Applications must be filed by NOON on February 9, 2018. Candidates for federal and state offices must file their applications at the Indiana Election Division in Indianapolis. Candidates for local offices must file at the office of the County Clerk.

School Board candidate filing begins July 25, 2018 and ends at NOON on August 24, 2018.

Please note candidates who file for a local office will need to complete the CAN-12 Statement of Economic Interest.  This form is not to be completed by those running for precinct committeeman or state convention delegate.
