The Kosciusko Executive Committee sadly informs our members of the death of our beloved friend, Jack Brunetto, who died Thursday of heart failure. Our hearts are broken.
Jack was a friend to all in the Warsaw Community:
Democrats and Republicans.
Most recently, Jack served as our Treasurer. As Treasurer, Jack was very dedicated, diligent and detail oriented. He came to the last meeting August 13th. He did not look well, but he brought the Treasurer’s Report and stayed a few minutes. He said he was undergoing some tests at the hospital, we did not realize how sick he was.
In 2024, in addition to serving as Treasurer, Jack served as precinct committee chair, worked multiple days substituting the early voting office before the May Primary and drove the parade vehicle in Princeton. Jack and his wife, Jayne sponsored the Lillypad boat ride and the Salute to Service Dinner for many years. Jack worked the Receiving Board every election that we can remember, always paired up with Deanna Ragan. Before moving out of the city limits, Jack served on the Warsaw Planning Commission Board and was a candidate for Warsaw City Council in 2019. Jack entered the City Council race with the same diligent and detail-oriented manner by attending every City Council meeting for over a year. Jack participated in many Election Board meetings as a proxy for Bill Morton, when he was unable to attend.
His kindness, dedication and smiles will be missed.
Please keep Jack’s wife, of 49 years – Jayne, as well as his extended family, in your thoughts prayers.
