“’Fucking bitch,’ [Representative Yoho] said.”
I’m choosing not to censor this quote because the brutality of these words illustrate what female lawmakers (especially of color) have to endure on a daily basis. Representative Ocasio-Cortez handled this potentially violent attack from a fellow lawmaker with class and dignity. I sincerely hope Representative Yoho is censured and removed from his committee spots.
