2025/04/25 Indiana Senate sends finalized local property, income tax plan to governor

While you were sleeping, this bill passed the Senate and Governor Mike Braun has hinted at signing it. “Local governments would lose a projected $1.5 billion over the three years, per the fiscal analysis. Public school corporations alone represent about half the anticipated loss, at $744 million — although Democrats contend other tax changes push that figure to almost $800 million.”
